Yamaha first introduce this model in 1982 and it

still current.  As a music dealer most of may adult life, Yamaha has always impressed me with their quality in both design and
workmanship
. This horn is no different.  I recently took this clarinet to a respected woodwind shop to be
evaluated
.  It is in good playing condition.  There was a fine player there on staff.  I never realized the dynamic of expression
available on this instrument.  Very round and rich with the ability to be played extremely soft.  I was impressed.
The two piece body of this clarinet is made from the finest choice grenadilla.  It is in good condition and free of cracks or concerns. The neck has some shallow dents and evidence of past repair.  I was told this is cosmetic only and not a factor in the sound or playability.  The bell also shows wear with a few small dents and scratches but is also in good playing condition.   Included is a hard case that shows wear but is structurally sound.  There is no mouthpiece included.
