This is a brand new, Unused Beluga Glass Cutting Kit, with original manufacturers warranty.
The Beluga Glass Cutting Kit is designed for Rescue Professionals to quickly and safely remove automobile and truck windshields during Emergency Extrication jobs.
The Beluga is as must for removing side and rear laminated safety glass that will be found on all new 2017 model year cars and light trucks sold in the USA.
The Beluga Glass Cutting Head mounts onto any standard 3/8" drill chuck or 1/4" driver.   We recommend a DeWalt, Makita or Milwaukee cordless 3/8" drill with a 0-3000 RPM output and 18-28V input.
Other battery operated drills will work well if they have enough torque and speed.
THE DRILL MOTOR AND DRIVER ARE NOT INCLUDED in the kit.  You must provide your own.
Providing your own drill is one of the best features of the Beluga Cutting Kit.   The cutting Kit never fails (normally) but drill motors fail all the time.  If your drill fails, just replace it, without having to replace the entire cutting system.  You can buy a quality battery operated drill, charger and spare batteries for considerably less than 0.00 at your local home center.   Another feature of the detachable drill is that it allows you to rotate the cutting head 360 degrees when navigating around bends and obstructions such as the A-Post.   This head rotating feature means you can steer the head as you cut, rotate the drill handle and hanging battery out of the way or pass the tool to your partner without them having to jump on the car or be a contortionist to use it safely.
The Beluga Tool blades can be changed in the field is less than 5 minutes,  although not one Beluga Set of Blades have worn out yet, even in the busiest departments.
