Vintage Drexel Touraine Provincial Hutch, Table and Chairs

Rare, vintage mid 19th century, French Provincial style china cabinet hutch and table made by renowned Drexel Heritage Furnishings in Drexel North Carolina.
Drexel Furnishings is a very well-known, established producer of high end furniture since 1903.
Formal Antique Dining Table 5 Piece Set with matching Hutch Cabinet
This is a French Drexel provincial dining table. It is a very nice dinning table set with minor wear on some of the edges (see pictures). The table has two leaves to expand the size of the table. With both leaves, the table can sit 8 very comfortably and possibly 10. The set includes four chairs, two of which require replacement of the open cane webbing on the backrest. Each chair comes with a backrest cloth cover that has been used for most of its lifetime. The cover is the same fabric and pattern as the seat cushion so it matches nicely. The table top and leaves are in very good condition and were mostly used with a table cloth. The legs are removable and very easily attached via two bolts each. The table, tables legs, and chairs are solid wood (possibly walnut). They are very sturdy and the table is very strong and structurally sound. There are two expandable metal supports that hold up the leaves when in use (see pictures).
The size of the oval table with no leaves is 4'9" L x 3'2.5" W x 2'4.5" H
with one leaf: 5'9" L x 3'2.5" W x 2'4.5" H
with two leaves: 6'9" L x 3'2.5" W x 2'4.5" H
The Hutch is a French Provincial Touraine Hutch. The model number is 364E and is stamped "262-424-6 Touraine by Drexel" on the back. It is a matching hutch with the table and includes two lights that shine in the entire cabinet, making a very beautiful backdrop. The shelves are made of quarter-inch glass that have rounded and frosted edges and they have no cracks or defects. The hinges, doors, glass panels and wire mesh are all in great condition and have never needed repair. Beneath the cabinet are three smaller closed cabinets. Behind two of which are three drawers (see pictures). The other smaller cabinet includes one shelf. The entire is in excellent condition and would make a wonderful addition to any room. The chairs and table are the only pieces that do require attention.
The hutch, table and chairs are a special ordered french white color with gold leaf accent.
