    Vintage kitten motif embroidered silk panel in Asian style dark cherry-colored wood pedestal frame. Exact age unknown. Unidentified embroidered Asian signature just to right of kitten's back leg. Kitten and string worked in multi-color silk threads on finest sheer woven mesh background. Embroidery appears to have no starts/stops or knotting, and may be viewed from both sides. Panel is mounted between two thin sheets of glass in round frame attached to ornate scroll motif pedestal base. Round section may be positioned at an angle, if desired. Not designed to turn 360 degrees, however. Excellent condition.
