VINTAGE '60s JAPAN DETROIT TIGERS BASEBALL MASCOT PAPER MACHE BOBBLE HEAD w BOX

Offered here is a vintage 1960's, bobble / bobbin' / bobbing head nodder doll or figurine. It is the Detroit Tigers mascot. It is made of a chalky / paper machier / plaster / ceramic-like / composition material. It measures just under 7 inches tall. A sticker under the base is marked: "JAPAN." It comes inside the original box, which shows the same figure, and reads: "MY FAVORITE BASEBALL TEAM...Japan." The figure is in EXCELLENT to NEAR MINT condition. I honestly don't believe that it was ever removed from the box, prior to these pictures being taken. The original tissue and cardboard around the neck are still present. The only flaws on the figure, are a paint chip on the edge of the tiger's right ear, and a little yellowing to the white paint. Otherwise, it is like new. The BOX is in VERY GOOD to FINE condition, with some soiling. The box is a bit squashed, near the top end - not too bad. You'll be hard pressed to find a nicer example of the figure or box. It is guaranteed to be old & original, or your money back.
