    Description

    Very rare 1901 Buffet Crampon Wooden A key Clarinet, fully repadded and ready to play! The A key (low pitch) turn of the century Buffets are very rare, but this instrument is exceptionally rare because it is of the standard Boehm system, but also has a wrap around register key. The instrument was recently fully restored by my tech and plays amazingly (much sweeter sound than modern A clarinets). Comes with a nice leather wrapped case. Selling due to COVID and haven't used it much since the start of the pandemic. Only cosmetic defect is a crack that was repaired very well many years ago on the upper joint and does not affect playability at all. The serial number, O 571, dates this instrument to 1901.
