Description
Up for auction this semi-vintage, used, naturally distressed and cut open BURLAP feed sack for your home
décor
. etc.
One bag per purchase, it may have rips, tares and/or holes and most of these were cut-open by the coffee buyer. So, these are most suitable for display purposes. One bag per purchase, but offers for multiple bags will be considered.
The pictures of the bags outside on the wood deck are what is for sale. I attempted to show each style of Coffee Company bag available and there are some plain / non-printed coffee company bags available. I threw some pictures in there of a plain burlap bag that was on-display for an idea of what these may look like as a decoration. Most of these bags have printing on one side and are blank on the other side.
These are HUGE and heavy...mostly about the same size w/ some variation, measuring approximately 39" x 28" and weigh almost 2-pounds each. Are they re-usable?
Yes, they are, BUT you may have to sew up a rip tare or hole and/or you would have to sew up the main hole cut it if you wanted the whole bag sealed up...just use some jute or hemp sting or rope that can be acquired at Walley World or a craft store.
IMPORTANT NOTE: BUYERS are TAXED a sales tax
by eBay
w/out the permission of the sellers. Ebay alone has taken it upon themselves to impose a sales tax on these "electronic yard sales"(auctions).
Ebay (not us part-time sellers w/ NO storefront and most whom have full-time jobs off-line). Ebay is doing this w/out asking sellers on
behalf of
the states that are mandating it. I personally am against it as are most people selling and buying on here. This is basically an electronic yard sale. So eBayers beware as sellers can not predict what your imposed sales tax will be before the purchase. It would be whatever your individual sales tax % is in your state.
Worse yet...there is NO way for sellers to turn-off the sales tax as eBay alone controls it.
The items here have been taxed again and again and again...and the states have no part in this online auction, but will benefit form what we the little people generate. Ebay already gets paid by sellers from the various fees. That much is a trade-off, but it is absurd that our citizens are compelled to take part in it. Its not necessarily even the amount of money taken in sales tax as much is the principle of idea of them taking it from us. How many times do people have to pay taxes on the same, used items before enough is enough. I am a buyer as much as I am a seller and so I too have paid it when purchasing items. I cringe everytime, but seems a necessary evil if I want the convenience of buying things quick. However, we eBayers are consequently looking for alternative means to sell our extra items and encourage anyone else still reading this to consider the same thing. Until then...I remain your most humble selling servant. -B.
