Ridenour Lyrique Noblissima Bb Clarinet

Description

The Lyrique Noblissima is a scaled down version of the Lyrique 576bc. The Noblissima features the same acoustical design and, just like the 576bc, each clarinet is prepared personally by Tom Ridenour.
Performance features include an advanced, polycylindrical custom bore design.  The polycylindrical configuration is not a mere copy of past bore designs––designs that achieve increased tonal depth only at the expense of even response and tonal stability––but is part of an overall acoustical design that results in a more perfect balance in resistance from hand to hand and register to register.
Tom's hand finishing of each clarinet provides benefits in the performance of each individual clarinet as well as overall consistency from horn to horn. The dividends in actual performance include a virtually seamless response and matching of tone color and resonance throughout the full range of the clarinet.
The response is so agile and efficient that many players find previously difficult passages become almost child's play on the Noblissima. The Noblissima's efficient, dependable response permits the player to spend less energy on controlling the clarinet and more energy concentrating on expressive phrasing and musicality.
The Noblissima includes a case, one barrel, swab, cork grease, standard "tear drop shaped" register key, skin pads, and standard thumb rest. For an additional a RE midline mouthpiece can be added or for 5 we can include one of our professional hard rubber mouthpieces.
