Description

This is an auction for an Original WW2 Manchukuo Manchurian Japanese Puppet State Flag.
The flag is in very good condition with some minor wear and staining. Measuring 750 mm x 510 mm.
The rim of the flag is not edged, given that there is minimal wear on the edge indicates that this flag was flown little.
The top ties are present however it does not appear that the flag has or had any bottom ties.
The canton is multi-piece and is present on both sides.
These flags are very rare as not many were brought back by US servicemen and most remaining in China were destroyed when the Communists took over.
