GREAT PLAYING BUFFET R13 CLARINET FANTASTIC OVERHAUL

This is a GREAT clarinet. Legendary Buffet R13. Big, full sound. Great ring to the sound and nice round attack. Flexible. Lots of character. Sweet and colorful. I had one of the very best—a world class technician— Shelly Tanabe—give this a full mechanical overhaul in 2018. All pads, key corks, felts, spacers, and tenon corks were replaced. The top joint has all cork pads except the bridge key. The bottom joint has pads of the very finest quality. Everything that could be done was done to make this clarinet play its very best. There are no cracks or repaired cracks. I am a professional saxophonist and occasional woodwind doubler. I don’t play that much clarinet and so this instrument still plays as well as when it was first overhauled in 2018. The instrument is serial # 61xxx. A golden period for Buffet for sure. Comes with non-original case that functions fine although one of the two clasps does not work.
