Early Period Historical Clarinet
This D Clarinet is a reimagining of a George Miller clarinet from 1770, but scaled to the key of D. This Clarinet is pitched in the modern tuning of A=440
It has a much brighter sound, which made it refer to as a “Mock trumpet” as well, and was used like a trumpet in pieces.
It has 8 finger holes and 5 brass keys (register, throat A, Ab/Eb, F#/C#, and E/B ) for any music by Mozart, Beethoven, the Stamitz family and other composers of the 18th Century.
The body is made of Indian Cocobolo wood with imitation Ivory rings.
Comes with 2 barrel to play A=440hz and A=442hz, case, extra set of pads, and accessories.
Also Available: Clarinets in A (La) key, B flat (Sib) key, Eb (Mib) key, C (Do) Key
and G (Sol) key are available in
