Offered is a Butterfly Wing Art Rio de Janeiro Brasil 20" x 13" serving Tray. This is a beautiful example of hand crafted marquetry Inlay combined with high quality butterfly wing art. I have owned many of these trays over the past 25+ years and this is one is amazing. Both the quality of the art and the condition of it is rarely scene now as they wings tend to deteriorate over time.
The artwork area size is about 15" x 11" and the glass looks original with very few signs of use. There may be light surface scratches but you need to look at it at just the right angle. My point is, except for the corner de-lamination in the corner, as shown, this is a great example of Butterfly wing art.
