    Description

    Great pre-R13 Buffet Clarinet. These are on everyone’s short list of great clarinets for playing professional swing or jazz. This one has been well-cared for. No cracks. Completely overhauled with new double bladder pads and corks. Raw nickel silver keys. Mechanism tight. Although serial numbers during this period are somewhat inaccurate because of the War, we estimate this to be from 1940. Serial #38775. These great old instruments are getting hard to find in this condition. Comes with Buffet mouthpiece and an interesting case. (Please see photographs.)
