We got this item from an antique store that was going out of business. It has a story taped to the back that claims it's from the Manaus area of Brazil and that it was made for the tourist trade but this paddle was sold before the painting could happen. Is it a true story? Who knows, but the provenance is cool nonetheless. It's 29" long.
