These instruments are truly beautiful and I have loved playing and performing on them the last few years. They were purchased new in 2017 as a set directly from Backun and have served me so well performing with the Akropolis Reed Quintet since then. You can hear their rich and fluid tone and wonderful colors on Akropolis' recent album, Ghost Light, which was just on the traditional classical Billboard charts. I have decided to send these instruments off to another wonderful home, having recently upgraded my clarinets to a new Backun Lumière set last fall.
