Authentic Haitian Spirit/Prayer Flag (aka drapo Vodou)
Sequins hand-embroidered on cloth, gorgeously bright colorful design ( heart + eggs + light vs. dark snakes + triple spirals ) Design imagery invokes Damballah Wedo, patron if dynamic fertility/life-force. Made in Haiti by traditional spirit flag artist Yves Delva. Purchased in 2013 at Haitian Art Company, gallery in Key West, with origibal price tag of 5.00. The main sequined/embroidered field is 27.5 " wide by 25" tall, with satin cloth frame it measures 32 " wide by 28.5 " tall. Satin frame has loop/tube at top for hanging rod. Beautiful,sparkly,bug and eye catching.
