30s French art deco girl perfume lamp / nightlight figurine - Halga, Limoges

his lovely girl sitting on a white box
looks terrific when she is lit
! She was created in the art deco period in
Limoges
,
France
, by Halga, from heavy porcelain and wonderfully handpainted. There is a hollow in her floral skirt which is a little perfume container
and with the heat of the lamp, this beauty becomes a room scenter. She is 6” (15½
cm) tall, in mint condition with no cracks or repairs and her colors are very vibrant. The only flaw is a bit of wear on the
gilding which is a sign of age to be found on almost all gilt figurines dating from the beginning of last century.
For safety purposes the electric wire has been replaced with a new old-style silk twisted wire when we bought this nightlight. We left the original porcelain plug which should probably be changed according to the country where this lovely girl
will continue her life. The mark Halga

is printed underneath. She will ship Priority registered airmail for in
Europe
and anywhere else in the world. She would look fantastic on an art deco dressing table and is a must for the collector of vanity items.
