1979 Triumph Bonneville

Description

I am the second owner of this immaculately maintained Triumph T140D Bonneville Special.  Only made in 1979 with no options other than the 2 to 1 header available to the North American market, which this bike has.  This model featured special paint- black with gold piping- unique badges- Lester cast alloy wheels- king/queen seat- electronic ignition- and disc brakes including chromed caliper covers.
This bike is a completely original, correct, numbers matching example.  Always pampered and garage kept.  Sounds fabulous and runs strong.  Shifts effortlessly through the 5 speed transmission.  Even the stickers are still like new! I drove my pickup from NJ to Chicago to pick this up when I bought it years ago, and it looked even better than the photos.  I'll bet you'll think the same!  Included are boxes of extra parts i.e. bulbs and books/service manuals, etc.
