    Description

Almost Antique perfume bottle atomizer and powder box by DeVilbiss.
Both pieces are blue enameled glass with gold encrusted finish.
While they weren't sold as a set, they do go together nicely. (Probably why they were purchased together?)
The bottle is #N-15.  7-5/8" high to the top of the sprayer. This shape is called "cigar". Marked in gold "DeVilbiss" on the bottom. It was sold for 3 years (1925-27), although I think they were purchased together in 1925 (see powder jar description). It has the original bulb (hardened with age) with blue glass beads crocheted into the cover. The cover does have a spot of damage (hey, it's almost 100 years old so not bad). It also has perfume smell in it. Needs to be cleaned? but I don't want to damage it by not knowing what I'm doing! And... I'm allergic to perfumes. The scent does remind me of my Mother's old Topaz perfume.
The powder jar is VJ-115. It is (lid) 4-3/4" diameter and close to 2-1/4" high total. The enamel on the lid is etched inside with floral designs. There is some minor wear to the bottom piece enamel. It was only sold in 1925. It also has the original DeVilbiss label on the bottom.
Neither has any chips, just the need to be cleaned, if desired.
Please look at all of the pictures to see what you're getting. Pretty set!
