Description

Brass belt buckle with a roundel bearing a Chinese dragon.
Worn by members of the Chinese company of the German East Asian Expeditionary Corps in 1900. In 1908, this unit was reorganized as the Kiautschou police force for the German colony of Kiautschou in Shantung China.
Buckle is rather large at 65 mm x 52 mm.
